 • Flame arresters are inspected semi-annually to check if the fire barrier core is clogged, deformed, etched. 
 • It is found that the plugged flame barrier core should be cleaned to ensure that each hole in the core is clear and that the fire barrier should be replaced for deformation and corrosion. 
• When reinstalling the flame retardant core, ensure that the joint surface is tight and leakproof.
